HNYF picks hole in MPSC recruitments

Staff reporter

Shillong, March 24: The Hynniewtrep National Youth Front (HNYF) has alleged that the director of Higher and Technical Education and the Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC) has violated the norms of transparency and denied opportunity to deserving candidates. Referring to an MPSC advertisement dated April 13 for the post of assistant system engineer in the office of the Director of Higher and Technical Education, assistant system engineer in Tura Polytechnic and librarian in Tura Polytechnic, the organisation alleged that there was no written tests and selection was done on the basis of personal interview. The advertisement, however, mentioned that written tests were mandatory.

HNYF has sought clarification from MPSC in this matter.
